Connect a channel

The video walkthrough has not been added yet. You can read the written guide below.

Choose the destination first

Decide which account or organisation page should receive your content. Confirm that the channel is available in your current Forge account and that you have permission to manage the destination.

Use the account that has the required access

When opening the channel connection flow in Forge, sign in to the relevant provider using the correct account. Review the access requested and the destination shown before completing the connection.

Check the result in Forge

Confirm the connected account or page is the intended one. Similar names and multiple organisation pages can make this worth checking carefully. Keep a record within your team of who owns the connection.

Prepare for your first publication

Choose one reviewed piece of content for the first use of the channel. Confirm the intended audience and language. The live platform shows the current channel options and any account-specific requirements.

If connection does not complete

Check the selected account and its permissions, then use Forge Support to raise a request if needed. Describe the channel and the stage where the issue occurred. Do not include passwords or private access tokens in a support message.

Continue with Publish your first post.
